Our first STREAM Night of the 2017-2018 academic year was held on November 2, 2017. The theme of this trimester was "Flight," so the projects included things like paper gliders, airplanes, birds and drones. The middle school students focused their projects on drones or airplanes that could help areas in need after suffering from natural disasters.
Thank you, Fr. Ford, for blessing our classrooms to start the 2017-2018 school year!

On Tuesday, August 22 we had a Welcome Back Ice Cream Social in our schoolyard for our SMS family and friends. We had a great turnout for the event! We also welcomed our eight new teachers to the SMS family. Thank you to everyone who helped put the event together and to everyone who attended. What a great way to kick-off the new school year!
In July 2017 we had offered our first ever STREAM Summer Camp. It ran for three weeks and students could attend one week or all three. We offered this camp in partnership with Sacred Heart High School as our campers spent the mornings on their campus in Art, Science and Technology classes. Our campers made music videos, beautiful art work and sturdy straw-bridges! In the afternoons the campers returned to SMS for fun games and maybe some water balloon fights! Each week ended with a field trip or a field day on campus. We can't wait for 2018!
Thank you to everyone who attended this year's Bells of St. Mary Auction and Dinner!
